You can obtain a report of a motor vehicle accident investigated by a Madison County Deputy by submitting a completed Crash Information Release Form and a $2.00 fee to Madison County Sheriff’s Office Records, PO Box 276, Virginia City, MT 59755.
Reports for accidents investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol or self reported on a Montana Highway Patrol Vehicle Crash Report can be obtained by contacting the Highway Patrol Accident Records Bureau at (406) 444-3277.
