Construction and Demolition Application/Permit
Before beginning a construction or demolition project in Madison County, it is the responsibility of property owners to inquire whether a Construction / Demolition permit from the Madison County Sanitarian needs to be obtained.
Ordinance 2-2006 outlines the fees for construction and demolition projects, describes which projects require a construction/demolition permit and the penalties involved if a permit is not obtained.
In order to obtain a permit, please complete the construction/demolition permit application and return it to the Sanitarian’s office with check or money order in the amount determined from the fee schedule on the application.
